Access advanced imaging services at our convenient Fort Worth facility. Our experienced imaging team delivers high-quality views of the inside of your body to help our physicians accurately diagnose conditions and recommend the most effective treatments.
Imaging Services We Provide
Imaging technologies at Fort Worth include:
- Computed tomography (CT), which integrates X-rays from different angles with computer processing to create cross-sectional images of bones and organs, such as the lungs, heart, and colon
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which uses a magnetic field and radiofrequency waves to produce detailed cross-sectional pictures of organs (such as the heart, brain, breasts, and prostate) and bones
- Radiography/fluoroscopy (RF) room, which creates real-time images of tissue inside a body
- Ultrasound (sonography), which uses high-frequency sound waves – not radiation – to produce precise images of the soft-tissue structures inside the body
- X-ray, a quick procedure that passes energy into the body to take a picture of internal structures
Appointment Information
On the day of the appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We will do our best to see you at your scheduled appointment time.
Please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Current insurance card
- Driver’s license or other approved government picture ID
- Method of payment – credit or debit card only
- Current medications
- Relevant past medical records, if available
- Completed paperwork, if you received forms before the visit
To facilitate ongoing communication, we recommend patients enroll in MyChart, which allows patients to communicate directly with UTSW providers, update contact information, complete visit questionnaires, and request clinic appointments. Sign in or sign up for MyChart.
Canceling an Appointment
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the clinic or cancel via MyChart 24 to 48 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patients who might be waiting for an appointment.
