We offer advanced imaging services in Dallas at UT Southwestern Medical Center at RedBird.

The imaging technology at RedBird includes some of the most sophisticated and versatile tools available:
- Computed tomography (CT), which can capture precise pictures of the lungs, heart, colon, and other vital organs – all with minimal radiation and zero breath holds for patients
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which provides high-definition scans of the heart, prostate, and breast tissue, as well as bones and the brain
- 3D mammography with biopsy capabilities

Specialized Imaging for Women of All Ages in Dallas, Texas
UT Southwestern’s specialized Women’s Imaging Program in Dallas − available at our new RedBird Center − offers a variety of advanced imaging technologies and diagnostic services for women of all ages. These enable our physicians to make the most accurate diagnoses and prescribe targeted treatments for all types of breast, gynecologic, and fetal conditions. Our technology includes state-of-the-art 3D mammography with biopsy capabilities to accurately detect even the smallest lumps and abnormalities with a high degree of precision.
Your Appointment
Before the day of your imaging appointment, you may need to follow specific instructions, such as fasting or avoiding medications. Please talk to your physician or nurse to find out how to prepare for your test.
On the day of your appointment, we will guide you through your test(s), as well as answer any questions you have.
Please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Driver’s license or official ID
- Current insurance card
- List of current medications
- Any paperwork that you received in the mail
We may also need your medical records.

Cancel an Appointment
If it's necessary to cancel your appointment, please notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate others waiting to schedule an appointment.
Your Results
After the test(s), your images will be read by a radiologist with specialized training and your physician will receive the results. You will also be able to access your images through MyChart.
