The team at UT Southwestern’s Center for Prostate Cancer Care at West Campus Building 3 offers innovative treatments for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. We’re focused on providing the best care as quickly as possible.
Typically, patients may wait six to eight months from the first warning signs to when they start treatment. We accelerate the process through better coordination and faster access to the experts you need for comprehensive care.

Our Prostate Cancer Services in Dallas
Diagnostic services at the Center for Prostate Cancer Care include:
- Digital rectal examinations
- Prostate-specific antigen tests
- MRI-guided biopsies
- TRUS/MRI-guided biopsies (transrectal ultrasound/MRI fusion technique)
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies
Treatments include:
- Watchful waiting, during which we monitor you regularly
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Radiation therapy, including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and brachytherapy
- Surgery

Appointment Information at the Center for Prostate Cancer Care
On the day of your appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We will do our best to see you at your scheduled appointment time.
Please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Current insurance card
- Driver’s license or other approved government picture ID
- Method of payment (credit or debit card only)
- Current medications
- Relevant past medical records, if available
- Completed paperwork, if you received forms before the visit

Canceling an Appointment at the Center for Prostate Cancer Care
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the clinic or cancel via MyChart 24 to 48 hours in advance, so that we can accommodate other patients who might be waiting for an appointment.
