The Internet is a great resource for a variety of topics, including health and wellness. Smart readers know, though, that virtually anything can and does end up on the Web, so it’s crucial to consider the source.

With that in mind, early last year, doctors and other health care professionals at UT Southwestern began submitting blog posts on everything from certain conditions and the latest medical advances to nutrition and healthy living. The idea from the outset was to provide honest, insightful, and down-to-earth commentary from experts you can trust. It still is.

New blogs are published every week in three separate categories:

  • On Mondays, a new “One Heart” blog is posted, covering anything and everything related to heart disease prevention.
  • On Tuesdays, a new “Your Pregnancy Matters” blog is posted, with observations and candid commentary about the latest information and trends in obstetrics.
  • On Wednesdays, a new blog in the “Cancer Answer Line” section goes up, keeping readers informed with up-to-date news related to oncology.

Finding the blogs is easy: View Stories & Insights from the top horizontal menu. The latest postings will appear, or you can choose to see only the entries submitted by specialty.
