Childhood sarcoma is a pediatric cancer that starts in the bones or soft tissue. Tumors typically grow in areas such as the bones, muscles, tendons, fat, and blood vessels, and may spread to other parts of the body.

UT Southwestern Pediatric Group’s cancer specialists are experts in treating all types of childhood sarcoma. We belong to the Children’s Oncology Group, a clinical trials organization that’s supported by the National Cancer Institute, as well as several other clinical trial programs. These relationships give us access to the latest treatments, information, and support from all over the world.
