The University Hospital Simmons Cancer Center Interventional Pulmonology Clinic is the main location for our Interventional Pulmonology team. Working alongside our Thoracic Surgery team and other multidisciplinary experts, we diagnose and treat conditions of the lungs and chest, such as lung nodules and lung cancer.

Our interventional pulmonologists specialize in sophisticated, minimally invasive procedures, and our team is highly skilled in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, including robotic bronchoscopy and a full range of pleural procedures.

On-site Multidisciplinary Teams

Close collaboration between interventional pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons is critical, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.

Working together allows for rapid evaluation of suspicious findings, coordinated biopsy and staging, and timely surgical consultation when needed.

This integrated approach helps ensure patients move efficiently from diagnosis to treatment, which is essential for improving outcomes in lung cancer.

Services We Offer

Some in-office procedures associated with lung conditions are available at this location, while most surgeries are performed at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, located across the street from the Cancer Care Outpatient Building.
