Need a primary care doctor? UTSW now offers internal medicine experts in Las Colinas

The health benefits of having a regular primary care physician are well documented, and now options just got better for people living or working in the Las Colinas/Irving area.
UT Southwestern recently added general internal medicine to its list of care offerings at its Medical Center at Las Colinas. Along with the expertise of UT Southwestern physicians, the clinic offers same-day appointments, on-site lab services, and free parking.
Among the services provided at the clinic are:
- Annual exams and Pap smears
- Birth control counseling
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, COPD/asthma, arthritis, etc.)
- Medicare wellness visits
- Preventive medicine
- Routine well-visit exams and immunizations
- Sports and camp physicals
In addition to general internal medicine, the Las Colinas clinic offers a full-service obstetrics and gynecology practice, and more specialties are coming soon as UT Southwestern seeks to serve an ever-broader patient population.
In addition to the Las Colinas facility UT Southwestern also has specialty Medical Centers in Richardson/Plano, the Park Cities, and Fort Worth, as well as a plastic surgery clinic in Frisco.
“The goal of these specialty locations is to provide patients – and their referring physicians – access to UT Southwestern expertise and resources right in their own neighborhood,” says Seth Toomay, M.D., Associate Professor of Radiology and acting Chief Medical Officer of Ambulatory Services at UT Southwestern.
