Biography

Uma Pulipaka, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general neurology.

Dr. Pulipaka earned her medical degree at Kurnool Medical College in India, and she completed her residency in neurology and fellowship in neurophysiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023. Previously, she worked in private practice for 20 years in Longview, Texas, and served as Co-Director of the stroke program at Longview Regional Medical Center.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Texas Medical Association.

Personal Note

When she is not at work, Dr. Pulipaka enjoys sketching, drawing, and gardening.
