Monitoring the winter weather

With North Texas under a winter storm warning, UT Southwestern is making the following adjustments to protect the safety of our patients, their families, and our workforce:

  • All in-person clinic visits scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 31, are shifting to virtual care or have been rescheduled.
  • Outdoor drive-thru operations, including COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, will be closed Tuesday. Vaccinations previously scheduled for West Campus Building 3 are being rescheduled.
  • Patients wanting to postpone previously scheduled procedures or surgeries may call 214-633-4210.
  • Patients needing additional assistance moving their clinic appointment may call 214-645-8300.
  • For help shifting an imaging visit, please call 214-645-9729 (XRAY).
  • All hospitals remain open.
A passion for putting patients first. #1 in DFW. Again.

Honored to Serve North Texas

UT Southwestern has again been selected by U.S. News & World Report as the #1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth – our sixth consecutive year to earn that distinction. And 10 of our specialties and 17 procedures and conditions are nationally ranked or recognized as high performing.

Our Commitment to You

At UT Southwestern, your safety and well-being are always our top priorities. You can count on us to deliver the care you need just as we always have – safely and effectively.

We continue to strongly encourage vaccination as the best defense against COVID-19. As an academic medical center, we are proud to share the latest advances in education, research, and clinical care. Our COVID-19 Updates and Vaccination websites offer tip sheets, educational resources, answers to frequently asked questions, and links to immediate scheduling for vaccination, both for adults and children ages 12-15. Vaccine information for children 5-11 is available through our partner Children’s Health.

Beginning Oct. 24, 2022, based on the low level of COVID-19 transmission in our community, masks are no longer required within most UT Southwestern clinical environments if you are symptom-free, but they remain a welcome precaution. Masks should continue to be worn by patients and guests visiting our Cancer Center clinics, Transplant clinics, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and Emergency Department.

Thank you for helping protect our community. We look forward to serving you.
