Health Insurance

UT Southwestern accepts most major medical insurance plans. We recommend that patients verify their coverage directly with the clinical practice or hospital where they are being seen.

Paying a Bill

Payments can be made online, by phone, or by mail.

Pay Online

Patients can pay a bill online via their MyChart account. Log in, click on the Billing and Insurance tab, and select the statement to pay.

If patients have a balance due, they can send us a secure message via MyChart by signing in, clicking on the Billing and Inquiries tab, and selecting Billing Account Summary. If there is a balance, there will be a hyperlink next to it that reads “See Account Details.” The Account Details page allows patients to send a message.
