As a state-designated COVID-19 vaccination hub, UT Southwestern is continuously working to improve access to vaccines and is pleased to announce two initiatives to further those efforts. First, we have launched a new online, public registration portal to schedule COVID-19 vaccinations at UT Southwestern. Second, we are now offering vaccines, by appointment only, at RedBird Mall in southern Dallas. Eligible individuals can choose to be vaccinated there or at our Market Hall or West Campus Building 3 locations in Dallas.
Existing patients who meet the necessary criteria should continue to schedule vaccinations through their UTSW MyChart accounts. More detailed information on the process and eligibility are available on our COVID-19 Vaccination site, along with tip sheets and answers to frequently asked questions.
Please keep in mind that vaccine supplies are limited and based on allocations from state and federal authorities. Thank you for your patience. We look forward to serving you.
A Video Visit is a safe and convenient way to get access to a broad spectrum of primary and specialty services at UT Southwestern while still receiving the same high-quality care you would receive in person—saving you time, travel, and giving you peace of mind.
UT Southwestern Medical Center inappropriately disclosed the names and email addresses of patients previously seen in the UTSW Kidney Cancer Program through to a third-party vendor. The vendor was used to send invitations to an event for the Kidney Cancer Program. No other information was shared with the third-party vendor and the patients’ email accounts were not compromised in any way. UT Southwestern considers the protection of our patients’ privacy of utmost importance, and we deeply regret the occurrence of this incident and any worry, distress, or difficulty that it may cause. If you are a current or previous patient of the Kidney Cancer Program and have questions about whether your name or email address was affected, you can contact the UT Southwestern Privacy Office at (214) 648-6080.
UT Southwestern's top priority is always the safety of its patients, their families, team members, and community members. So we have implemented a social distancing strategy limiting visitors, reducing entry points, and screening everyone for COVID-19 symptoms.
UT Southwestern has again been selected as the Best Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth by U.S. News & World Report – our fourth consecutive year to earn that distinction. And 10 of our specialties and seven procedures were rated among the nation’s finest.
Please join us every Friday for “What To Know,” a Q&A video series hosted by Dr. John Warner, Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs. UT Southwestern specialists will join Dr. Warner to answer questions and share facts from the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
