No. 1 hospital in DFW for a ninth straight year

UT Southwestern is the No. 1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth for the ninth consecutive year and ranks among the nation’s top hospitals for care in 12 specialties – the most of any hospital in Texas, according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals list for 2025-26.
UT Southwestern ranks No. 2 among all hospitals in Texas and is top-ranked in the state for Neurology & Neurosurgery and Geriatrics care.
Among the 4,400 hospitals reviewed by U.S. News, UT Southwestern is ranked among the top 50 nationwide in the following 12 specialties:
- No. 9: Neurology & Neurosurgery
- No. 15: Rehabilitation
- No. 16: Geriatrics
- No. 16: Pulmonology & Lung Surgery
- No. 18: Diabetes & Endocrinology
- No. 20: Cancer
- No. 20: Cardiology, Heart & Vascular Surgery
