Biography
Preethi Mani, M.D., M.P.H., FACC, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in multimodality cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease, and cardiac risk stratification.
Dr. Mani earned her medical degree at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern and gained advanced training through fellowships in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She also holds a master’s in public health in epidemiology from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Mani is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear medicine, and echocardiography. She is also trained in cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
She has twice received the Cleveland Clinic Educational Foundation’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
