Ananya Majumder, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in head and neck cancers, thyroid disorders, and nasal and sinus (rhinology) disorders. Dr. Majumder treats patients at the Otolaryngology Clinic at the Moncrief Medical Center at Fort Worth.

She received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine and then completed her residency in otolaryngology at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Majumder was drawn to her specialty by the different types of problems that can be addressed surgically – some life-threatening, others life-altering. She is adept at using leading-edge technology in the clinic and operating room, and she enjoys getting to know her patients on both a medical and personal level.

Personal Note

Outside work, Dr. Majumder likes trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and traveling. She’s enjoying her move to Fort Worth – and is taking advantage of the Trinity Trails and the barbecue.
