Biography

Kevin Katzen, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in family medicine and primary care.

Dr. Katzen earned his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed his residency in family medicine.

Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Katzen’s clinical interests comprise all aspects of family care, including mental health and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT).

He is a member of several professional associations, including the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Katzen was the first resident to be awarded a faculty position to teach OMT to students at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
