Biography

Micah Nishigaki, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Nishigaki earned her medical degree at the UT Southwestern Medical School and completed a residency in family medicine at UT Southwestern.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Nishigaki’s clinical interests include lifestyle medicine. Her publications include a contribution to the book A Clinical Casebook of Sleep Disorders in Women.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Nishigaki enjoys playing board games, going to trivia nights, and climbing.
