Yiu-Ting "Timothy" Chiu, M.D.

Yiu-Ting “Timothy” Chiu, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in general gastroenterology.

Dr. Chiu earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport.

Dr. Chiu joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020. His clinical focus is on colonoscopy screening and treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other gastroenterology disorders.

He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
