Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center
Families Connected is a quarterly support program designed to help patients and their school-aged children adjust to the changes that occur when a parent has cancer, by helping them connect with other families.
Made possible by the Dwight Powell Children and Family Support Fund, each Families Connected event has a unique theme. All events include music therapy, arts and crafts, and pet therapy.
Our Next Event
Saturday, December 14th, 2019, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Our holiday edition will include a holiday photo booth and a photo frame craft, plus your favorites – music therapy and pet therapy. Each family will also receive a grocery card.
Snacks will be provided.
