Conquering Cancer

Let's Conquer Cancer

Dallas Mavericks player Dwight Powell is as passionate about bringing support to families affected by cancer as we are. UT Southwestern has partnered with Dwight and the Mavs to launch “Conquering Cancer,” a new initiative to empower the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to beat cancer with screening and prevention. Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price have joined the fight, too!

Get Screened, for the Health of It.

More than 1 million people are diagnosed with cancer every year. Early detection through cancer screening or a cancer blood test can provide more options for successfully fighting the disease.

We are committed to helping you prevent cancer from ever developing – or stopping it in its tracks if it has already started. Do you want to know which screenings are recommended for which cancers, the risks involved, and your personalized options when it comes to cancer prevention?

We are devoted to helping you learn everything you need to know about catching cancer early, when it can be easier to treat and possibly even prevented altogether.

Screening and prevention. That’s how you conquer cancer.

You don’t have to talk about it. You don’t have to think about it. You just do it. It’s that simple.

Cancer screening and prevention. The time is now.
