Our physicians and advanced practice providers are dedicated to treating patients with attentive and compassionate care in the following primary care services:
- Family Medicine: Provides comprehensive care including preventive care and disease maintenance for the whole family, from newborns to seniors
- General Internal Medicine: Specializes in maintaining long-term adult wellness, including the prevention and treatment of common disorders such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity and osteoporosis. Coordinates care with other specialists
- Geriatrics: Focuses on comprehensive healthcare for seniors

Virtual Primary Care
Get same-day care where you are
Existing UT Southwestern primary care patients who are 18 and older may be able to meet online with a member of our team to receive care.
Virtual Primary Care Services
- We offer same-day or urgent visits for conditions that are not life threatening, typically last a short time, and are appropriate for telehealth management. These include:
- Upper respiratory symptoms, such as cough, sore throat, and sinus symptoms
- Minor infections, including urinary symptoms and skin concerns suitable for virtual assessment
In addition, we can help with:
- Symptom assessment and guidance
- Follow-up on urgent issues that can be safely managed virtually
Patients meet with an advanced practice provider – a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is part of your care team and trained to provide quality care.
Virtual Primary Care Hours
Virtual primary care appointments are available:
- Monday-Friday, noon-8 p.m.
