Daniella Pinho, M.D.

Daniella F. Pinho, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Nuclear Medicine and Abdominal Imaging divisions. She has dual board certifications in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology. Her clinical interests include gynecologic oncologic imaging and gastrointestinal imaging.
Dr. Pinho earned her medical degree at the University of São Paulo in Brazil and performed her residency training at the university's Institute of Radiology. She then received advanced training in abdominal imaging through separate fellowships, first at University of São Paulo and then at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She continued her advanced training at UT Southwestern, completing fellowships in body magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine.
Dr. Pinho focuses her research on cervical cancer and on the role of new PET/CT tracers in pancreatic imaging.
She is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
In addition to receiving a number of prestigious awards, including being named an RSNA Honored Educator, she has contributed to five radiology textbooks and co-authored 12 original research articles.
