Biography

Austin Dennard, D.O., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general obstetrics, robotic gynecological surgery, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She also has a specific interest in caring for transgender male patients.

Dr. Dennard earned her medical degree at Kansas City University. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern and gained advanced surgical training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery through a fellowship at North Texas Gynecologic Oncology and Medical City Hospital.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.

Dr. Dennard is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2017, she received the Quality of Care and Patient Safety Award from Parkland Health & Hospital System.
