Biography

Diana Schultz, M.S.N., APRN, WHNP-BC, CNM, is dual board-certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Ms. Schultz earned her baccalaureate degree in nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1996. She obtained certification as a registered nurse in obstetrics from the National Certification Corporation. After nearly 15 years of experience in gynecology and labor and delivery, she earned her master’s degree in nurse-midwifery and a post-master’s certification as a women’s health nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati in 2010.

She is board-certified by the National Certification Corporation as a women’s health nurse practitioner and by the American Midwifery Certification Board as a certified nurse midwife. She has worked in gynecology, with a special interest in cervical dysplasia and complex gynecological care, since 2011.

Ms. Schultz is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
