Located at 6303 Forest Park Road, the 24-acre Paul M. Bass Administrative and Clinical Center offers patients the convenience of medical and dental clinics, a post office, food court, pharmacy, day care center, private businesses, and more, all in one complex. The center also houses UT Southwestern administrative offices and the UT Southwestern Police Department.
The center consists of Bass Center Towers 1 and 2 and a concourse that connects the two. Chase Bank is adjacent to the complex.
The center was named in honor of Paul M. Bass, the chairman emeritus of the Southwestern Medical Foundation. Built in the late 1950s, the complex — originally named Exchange Park — was the first large-scale mixed-use commercial development in Dallas. It was also one of the first high-rise building projects outside of downtown.
